What a year 2016 has been....many downs, but many more ups--too many to list here!
Looking forward into 2017, I have a few new endeavorers/resolutions I am diving into head first!
1) I joined a collaborative blog! The button is to the right --->
I am looking forward to gathering ideas and contributing to Conversations from the Classroom, a blog that is meant to be just that, a conversation! It's a place where teachers are working together to make each a better teacher, learning from each other, and asking questions to improve their craft. Please join us as often as you can! I will be writing a post on the 13th of each month, but we have posts EVERYDAY that span PreK-7th grade and a variety of areas (classroom teacher, Speech, Gifted an Talented, Media, etc.)
2) Learner's Edge, stepping back
I LOVE the professional development I have received from being an instructor for Learner's Edge, but the time demands have taken a toll on me. I am going to be a substitute now, filling in days here and there when needed. I still get the PD I love, and the extra bit of income, but in smaller doses :o)
3) Bullet Journal, organization and time management
I have seen Bullet Journals floating around Instagram for awhile and thought I would give it a try. I want to be more organized and manage my time better, so I have more time available for my husband and 5 1/2 y.o. I found this cute notebook at the dollar store to get me started, and what better day to start than January 1st?!

4) TPT and Hand Lettering?
I love creating resources to use in my classroom, and then sharing those with others. So, not a new endeavor, but rather a continuation goal to create more! I also LOVE the hand lettering stuff I have seen on IG and around FB, and want to learn how to do it! I am going to get Hand Lettering 101 with a gift card I received for Christmas and dive right in!
That's a snapshot of my 2017 goals and where I am headed. What about you?
Happy 2017!
